Esteban Kadamani is the founder of Infinite Windows, one of South Florida's premier hurricane impact window and door companies, and the creator of Citadel, an AI-powered operating system built to run construction companies. Esteban immigrated to the United States from Colombia in 2001 at the age of eighteen and took his first job working the night shift at a sandwich shop for minimum wage. Two decades later, the company he co-founded from the spare bedroom of an apartment has been named to the Inc. 5000 twice, recognized by Entrepreneur magazine as one of America's best entrepreneurial companies, and trusted with some of the nation's most exclusive residences—including several of the most expensive homes ever sold in Florida.

A lifelong technologist who set aside his dream of becoming a software engineer to study business, Esteban spent twenty years building systems to run his company—from a homemade Excel CRM to a fully customized platform—until AI finally erased the line between architect and engineer. He then personally built Citadel, an operating system with an AI agent in every department that handles the follow-up, monitoring, and day-to-day coordination that consumes contractors' time, while ensuring every judgment call remains human. His mission is to ensure that small and mid-sized contractors—the backbone of an industry historically slow to adopt new technology—are not left behind in the AI era, and that the path he climbed remains open for the next kid working the night shift.

IN THIS EPISODE YOU'LL LEARN:

  • How AI is making it possible to revive career dreams that once seemed permanently out of reach.
  • Why decades of industry experience can become your greatest competitive advantage in the AI era.
  • How to build systems that reduce daily oversight while keeping every critical decision human-led.
  • That operating like a larger company begins with disciplined processes, not company size.
  • Why calculated risks often create the biggest opportunities when others refuse to act.
  • How lean operations and adaptability help businesses survive uncertainty and emerge stronger.
  • That world-class execution depends on reliable systems instead of memory, spreadsheets, or instinct alone.
  • Why contractors who embrace AI today will be better positioned to compete with larger organizations tomorrow.
  • How gratitude, resilience, and continuous ambition fuel long-term entrepreneurial success.
  • That sustainable growth comes from designing a business that works without depending on the owner every day.
